- The collection of the County of Bentheim contains government and chamber matters, bonds, school matters, state matters and governance matters. Among others it includes requests from Jews for protection or escort.
- Archival history:
- The settlement between Hannover and the Prince of Bentheim and Steinfurt in 1823 also meant a division of the old registries, although the separation was by no means consistent. The Osnabrück collection covers government, chamber and state matters, but also files of the chamber administration regarding domainial affairs.
