- This collection comprises documents from the collection of the Historical Society, including many with references to Schaumburg. - The largest part of the archival collection of the Schaumburg-Lippische Heimatverein (Historical Society of Schaumburg-Lippe) was deposited at the Lower Saxony State Archives in Bückeburg in autumn 1963 and was catalogued the following year by Friedrich-Wilhelm Schaer. A large number of older documents, in particular, do not contain Schaumburg references.
