- This collection contains the oldest administrative files of the city of Bückeburg in the entire scope of the former factual jurisdiction. Relevant subjects for the Jewish history are: protected Jews (Schutzjuden), residence of Jews in Bückeburg, acquisitions of various cities and offices, land register of Bückeburg, purchase of town houses by Jews, debts, register of inhabitants, as well as various other matters.

- The sub-portfolio Dep. 9 A includes - apart from the documents in Orig. Dep. 9 - the oldest surviving administrative files of the city of Bückeburg. The largest part is from the 18th century. In 1760, a list of files was added by the city's legal counsel Johann Caspar Giesler, who became famous for his topographic land survey. The structure currently in use also follows his system.
