- This collection comprises documents of the district court from all areas of civil and criminal activity, among others probate deposits, death notifications, register of the synagogue associations of Obernkirchen, commercial register files and bankruptcy declarations.
- Administrative/biographical history:
- The Electoral Hessian justice department was replaced with the Prussian district court in 1867. The Oberkirchen district court was confirmed and reconstituted in 1962. but in the course of the local government reform of 1 January 1972 it was dissolved and added to the district court of Bückeburg.
