- During the First World War, an official distribution of food was introduced in all states of the German Reich to solve the increasing problems with supply. The collection contains the correspondence between the city administration and the state food office. Jews were concerned about certain aspects of this scheme, evidenced in files such as Nr. 81: The supply of flour to institutions for the production of matzo or the issue of coupons for matzo by the community leaders (1916/1921)
