- The collection is the main file of the city or municipal administration and covers a wide range of aspects of communal life, such as lists of Roman Catholics, German Catholics, members of the Reformed Church, Jews, Israelites as well as members of particular sects from the communities of Wilhelmi-, August-, Stein-, Petri-, Wenden- and Hohethor (1852/1854), the tax to be paid by Catholics, members of the Reformed Church and Jews to the Protestant Church. Instruction for preachers, rabbis and judges concerning trials (1852/1862), the acquisition by part of the Jewish community toward construction of an urn cemetery (1929), the Israelite congregation and the synagogue order (1832/1898), the Jewish schools (1824/1911), the Order for the new hospitals of Jewish status (1836), the relations of the Jewish residents of the countryside (1843/1845), the appointment of the teacher and chairman Fuchs by the local Jewish community (1882), the request of the head of the local Jewish congregation for confirmation of rabbinate regulations (1841/1846), the appointment of the district rabbis and their adjuncts (1884/1929), the cemetery and funeral order of the Jewish congregation (1919).

- Collection D IV is the core of the city or municipal administration for the period between 1825 and 1930. The main registry was established when the new police and municipal order came into force in 1825 and it contained the records regarding administration of the city until the 1930s.
