- Collection MA-R 3 comprises files from the trade register. The relevant file (5) contains material about the disguise of companies owned by Jews in the time of National Socialism. Several Jewish businessmen tried to rescue their companies by officially instating non-Jewish managers while remaining in the background. The file contains material about single cases, e.g. a copy of the verdict against coffee trader Ernst Köster. It furthermore contains notes from the “Reichswirtschaftskammer” about the official handling of the issue and notes about its internal management. There are also copies and summaries of laws and decrees concerning the topic of disguised "Jewish" businesses.
