- This record group holds a small series of documents pertaining to the nationalisation of Hungarian Jewish assets in 1944. The records include protocols prepared on the occasion of the opening of the bank safes of Jews in the years 1944-1946, correspondence on the opening of safes, requests for the different treatment of non-Jewish assets, list of debts of Budapest Jewish companies in 1944, lists of Jewish debtors (kezességi adós), and inventories of Jewish estates, pro memoriae and correspondence about Governmental Decree no. 3840/1944 on the confiscation of Jewish assets, as well as various kinds of notes, registries, minutes of meetings and bank statements.

- The disorganised fragments of the records of the Secretariat were handed over to the Hungarian National Archives around 1950.
- Administrative/biographical history:
- The Homeland Bank Co was founded by the First Home Saving Bank of Pest City and the Niederösterreichische Escompte Gesellschaft in 1894 and was mostly involved in the financing of railways and industrial companies. Homeland Bank Co and First Home Saving Bank of Pest City merged in 1946. In 1948 the institute was liquidated by the communist state.
