- Administrative/biographical history:
- Following the takeover of the Arrow Cross Party on 16 October 1944 the Ministry of Religious and Educational Affairs continued to work along the same task and competencies. The structure was rearranged by the new minister, the extreme right wing journalist and MP Ferenc Rajniss, with no. XVI. being the Department for Jewish Affairs. The Arrow Cross Ministry of Religious and Educational Affairs operated until 27 March 1945. In November, with the Red Army approaching, all the offices of the ministry were evacuated to the town of Szombathely near the western border of Hungary, where the ministry operated in the building of the Franciscan convent.
