In the first-class attendance and grade book of the Gymnasium "Novi Pazar”, dated 1 October 1919, kept for the first grade of the school year 1919/1920, the names of the following Jewish students were entered: Jakov Bahar, son of the merchant Moša and Hana, born 22 March 1907; Josif Papo, son of the merchant Jeroham, born 23 July 1909; Solomon Montije, born 22 March 1907, son of the merchant Aron and Anula. In the second grade the following students were recorded: Elezar Bahar, born 15 August 1907, to the merchant Jakov and Rifka; Sadik Konforti, born 13 September 1905, to Zumbul the merchant; Sadin Papo, born in October 1906 to Jeroham and Leja. There were also students from the families of Leon, Montije and Israel.
The students studied the following subjects: religious studies, Serbian language, French language, geography, natural sciences, mathematics, drawing, writing; for other subjects the Gymnasium had no teaching staff. In addition to basic data regarding the students, the column named the "Note" provided additional information such as when the student arrived, emigrated, left or was dismissed. The "misbehaviour and punishment" column described the type of misbehaviour, punishment, who made the sanction, day and number of the decision. For example, Elezar Bahar was punished with class confinement. The students were evaluated for their behaviour and accomplishment. In the school years 1919/1920 to 1940/1941, a total of 22 Jewish students attended the lower gymnasium, while only one Jewish student, Aron Koen, graduated from the Higher Gymnasium.

- Administrative/biographical history:
- The Gymnasium in Novi Pazar was established by the Decree of the Serbian Royal Ministry of Education and Church Affairs dated 20 November 1913, as the Serbian Royal Gymnasium in Novi Pazar. It became the Incomplete Mixed Gymnasium by decree of King Alexander in 1919 and operated as such until March 1931, when it was named Realna gimnazija in Novi Pazar. On 1 April 1941 the Gymnasium ceased to operate by order of the Ministry of Education. On 12 April 1945 it became operative again under the name of Mixed Real Gymnasium and in the same year it changed its name to State Real Gymnasium. On 14 December 1968 it was renamed the Gymnasium "Bratstvo-jedinstvo", and it worked under that name until 1 September 1977, when it changed its name to Educational Centre "Bratstvo-jedinstvo" Novi Pazar. It adopted its Statute in a referendum on 18 April 1988 and established itself as the High School “Bratstvo-Jedinstvo“.
