The collection of photographs comprises several groups: postcards of old Šabac, postcards and photographs of famous buildings in the city, photographs of Šabac in the First World War, photographs of crimes in the Second World War, etc.
The group of photographs which depicts crimes committed in the Second World War, the Sava Camp and the Central Prison also illustrates the sufferings of the Jews of Šabac. They were deported from the Sava Camp to other camps or taken to Zasavica, together with Romanies, and executed. Photographs also show crimes in Zasavica. The German military album of photographs illustrates the Nazi crimes committed in Šabac, among whose victims were Jews. One photograph shows the inhabitants of Šabac when preparing for the so-called "Bloody March" to Jarak. Another depicts Dr Alfred Cohen, who was executed and then hanged on the central town square in Šabac.
