- The collection comprises records created by the president of the Federation of Jewish Communities of Yugoslavia, the architect Aleksandar Nećak. They relate to the meetings in which he participated in the capacity as president of the Association in various European countries, in Israel and worldwide, with the responsibility to improve the position of the Jewish community in Serbia.

Aleksandar Nećak was born in Novi Sad, to father Dušan, an officer in the army of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia, and mother Suzana, née Haker. Almost the entire family perished during World War II. He completed his primary and secondary education in Belgrade, and graduated from the Faculty of Architecture of the Belgrade University in 1965. He worked in several construction firms, the longest in "Komgrap" and "Trudbenik". He founded his own company in 1985, which was engaged in design, consulting and engineering in Yugoslavia and abroad, as well as in foreign and domestic trade. He was awarded at many Yugoslav and Serbian competitions for urban architectural solutions.
In the Jewish community of Belgrade he was the vice president, a member of the Council, the president of the Investment Commission and the president of the Financial Commission. In the Federation of Jewish Communities of Yugoslavia (SJOJ), and then Serbia (SJOS), he was the president of the Financial Commission, the Museum Commission, the Commission for Cemeteries and the Commission for Holidays, and a member of the Executive Committee. From 2007 to 2011, he was the president of SJOS. He was also a member of the Serbian state delegation which participated at the ITF (Task Force for International Cooperation on Holocaust Education, Remembrance and Research) and a member of the EJF Executive Committee (European Jewish Fund).
