Scope and content:: The collection comprises the material created by the work and activities of the Commission for Culture of the Federation of Jewish Communities of Yugoslavia, which dealt with editing of the Bulletin, the Almanac and the Contemporary Edition, with choirs, the women’s committee, the youth section, pioneers clubs, preschools, library and reading rooms and their coordination committees. The Commission also awarded scholarships, held professional seminars for members of the community, organised competitions, cultural events, and the procurement and distribution of newspaper and periodicals.
