- This fonds contains documents of the notaries that worked for the state administration, some of whom prepared documents related to Jews. For example, when in 1747 the Austrian Government was compelled to sell the two Chamber Courts of Ostiglia and Sermide to the company “Provveditori di Campagna”, owned by several people (Mellerio, Buonanome, Finzi, Vida and Vitale), of whom many were Jews, this act was made by the Chamber Notary Pietro Maria Mancina, on 9 October 1747 (see folder no. 155, file no. 3).

Also known as Rogiti Camerali, the fonds Notai Camerali collects notaries’ documents originally held by the Archivio dell'Amministrazione demaniale di Mantova (Archive of the State Admnistration in Mantua) from where it was moved in 1927 and placed in the State Archive of Mantua.
