- The fonds contains two items of workers’ ledgers which belonged to Zalman Sadevich. The dates of the two ledgers are 1936 and 1938.

- The fonds was compiled in 1974. The source and date these documents were received are undetermined.
- Administrative/biographical history:
- The Jewish Society of the Mentally Ill in Lithuania existed from 14 August 1925 until 10 August 1940. The Law on the Association was registered on 14 August 1925 at the office of the Governor of Kaunas City and County. The society was managed by the general meeting of members, the board and the audit commission. The society operated throughout Lithuania and was based in Kaunas. The society was closed by the resolution of the Minister of the Interior on 10 August 1940. The society provided psychological, material and medical assistance to Jews suffering from mental illness, treated in and out patients, and maintained the patients' caregivers at their own expense. The society established medical institutions, schools for sick children, organised consultations, meetings and lectures.
