- The fonds contains records of the state enterprise “Atrama”. It includes minutes of administrative meetings, operational orders, financial plans and financial expenses, financial documents, new technology plans, statistics of scientific achievements, records of activities of public organisations, rationalisation proposals, acts of introduction into production, tables of economic effect calculation and more.

- Documents were received from 11 May 1981.
- Administrative/biographical history:
- The factory was initially established under the name “Grandis”. The Minister of Finance of the Republic of Lithuania approved the Articles of Association of the joint-stock company “Grandis” on 31 March 1939. The founders of the company were Jeronimas Vyšniauskas, Chaim Apraski, Samuel Apriaski, Chatzkel Levinson, Fania Apriaski and Solomon Liphshitz. The company produced and sold horseshoes, nails and other metal products. It was nationalised in 1940. During the Nazi occupation of Lithuania, the company was called “Staatliche Eisenbetten Fabrik”. In 1945 the factory was renamed to “Atrama”. In 1992 the state-owned company “Atrama” was reorganised and registered as a joint Lithuanian-Russian company called “Atrama-CherMk”.
