- The date the documents were received and their source is undetermined. The fonds has not been supplemented since 19 April 1956.
- Administrative/biographical history:
- Rumšiškės (Rumsiskes) is called Rumshishok in Jewish sources. Before the First World War, there were about 100 (or more) Jewish families in the town. During the war the Russian authorities expelled Jews from Rumsiskes and afterwards only half of the Jewish community returned.
