- The collection contains materials on A Perlmann's dental practice: price lists, lists of patients and other data. Perlmann's photograph is also included in the collection.
- Archival history:
- Perlmann's materials were acquired by the Central State Historical Archive of Estonia, predecessor of the current Estonian Historical Archives, in 1947.
- Administrative/biographical history:
- Dentist Aron Perlmann (1884-1969) was a native of Viljandi. He graduated from dental surgery school in Riga and the medical faculty of the University of Tartu. As a student he was a member of the Jewish student organisation Limuvia. From 1907-19 and 1923-40 he practised privately in Tartu. In 1940-1914 and until his retirement in 1962 he was employed by state-owned Soviet institutions. During the war he was evacuated to the area of Ulyanovsk in Russia.
