Scope and content:: This fonds contains a file no. 68 (dated 1840-1855), in which we find correspondence with the Central Jewish Consistory of Belgium related to a number of cases of antisemitism (e.g. regarding a teacher of Catholic religion).

Administrative/biographical history:: Engelbert Sterckx (1792-1867) was a pastor in Boechout (1821) and Antwerp (1824-1830), and later vicar general of the archbishopric of Mechelen (1827).
