This fonds contains a file concerning the elimination of Jews from public functions (see file no. 883).
Administrative/biographical history:
Alexandre Delmer (1879-1974) was secretary-general at the Ministry of Public Works (1927-1945). He is considered to be the “father of the Albert Canal”. During the Occupation, Delmer was the head of the committee of Secretaries-General. (J. Verhelst & E.
