Scope and content:: The collection contains:

1. Extract from the minutes of the meeting of the Council for Religious of Council of Ministers of the USSR on 26 June 1979 regarding the demolition of the building of the New Synagogue on Marshal Zhukov St.

2. The act of transfer of the building allocated for the Jewish prayer house (Krasnykh Zor' St., 6) to the balance of the religious society "of the Jews”, 6 December 1986.

3. The contract for the sale of the first building, which became the office of the organisation of Jewish cultural society “Shalom", 27 February 1991.

4. Act on the election of Yakov Birlyant to the office of chairman of the organisation of the Jewish cultural society "Shalom", 8 July 1992.

Archival history:: The collection includes documents that were used to prepare brochures on the history of society "Shalom" in 2011.
