Scope and content:: The collection contains minutes of plenary meetings of the executive committee; draft provisions; minutes of meetings of the presidium; decisions of the executive committee; minutes of meetings of the commission on juvenile affairs; commissions reports on the struggle with the elements; reports on the departments of health, employment and culture; lists of cultural and educational institutions; reports of criminal investigations; proceedings of the department of education; lists of employees of the regional executive committee; correspondence with the district courts; and materials on religious cults. Also included is correspondence with the city council on the activities of the Jewish religious community in 1928-39, including protocols of its executive body regarding distribution of positions and profiles of parishioners (1937) containing personal data. There is also annual information on parishioners; references to a list of persons deprived of their electoral rights; lists of liability for accepting property from the state; complaints; denunciations of community members; lists of executive body members; lists of arrivals of community founders; insurance receipts; an inventory list from the old Omsk synagogue (1928); contracts of adoption of the old synagogue on balance; certificate of inspection of activities of the Jewish community of Omsk; notes, references, memos, text statute of a new prayer house; and the act on the elimination of synagogues (1935). Materials on religious worship from 1960-1980 include a list of Jews, interviews, information on the state of religiosity, annual work plans of the commission for religious cults, minutes of meetings of the commission, information about work with schools, protocols of preventive work and promotion of legislation on religious cults. There are materials on staff, including Jews. Personal files contain an excerpt from the order, references, applications and a questionnaire with personal data.
