Scope and content:: This collection includes the personal files of the officer at the Omsk branch of Roskulttorg, I.B. Goldberg (1946-1947), and the officer of store number 5 of Roskulttorg, A.I. Orzhelik (1951-1952).

Archival history:: Materials were added to the archive as part of the standard local process.

Administrative/biographical history:: In accordance with the decree of the USSR Council of Ministers № 4286 1950 and decision of the executive committee of the City Council of People's Deputies of 10 January 1950 № 3-78 the shop "Machines and Instruments" of the General Machinery and Instrumentation Marketing [Glavmashpriborsbyt] was opened in the city of Omsk. The main activity was to sell goods, in particular those manufactured by the enterprises of the Ministry of Machinery and Instrumentation Engineering. From 1950 to 1954 the store was run by the Union Machinery and Instrumentation Marketing of the Ministry of Machinery and Instrumentation. From 1954 to 1955 it was in charge of the Omsk office of Roskulttorg, called “store number 5”. On 1 January 1955 the Omsk office of Roskulttorg and store number 5 were abolished.
