Scope and content:: The collection contains decisions, orders of financial department, records of meetings of Finance Department and documents on tax policy.

It also includes files on the calculations of taxes for religious workers, including one case dedicated to the financial operations of the Omsk synagogue rabbi E N Stolyar in the period from 1959 to 1965. This file contains acts of tax inspectors and the declaration, comprising a statement of the rabbi's income, documents on the calculation of income tax by the Kuibyshev Finance Department, records of conversations with the rabbi, data on time and place of worship and festival services.

The collection also includes proposals regarding audit data and cash books of the Jewish synagogue, correspondence with City Finance Department, various inquiries and financial references. Furthermore, it includes information about Jewish artisans and craftsmen engaged in illicit handicrafts in the 1960s and personnel files of employees of the Kuibyshevsky Finance Department (including Jews) for the period from 1937 to 1951. These files contain information about the individual’s employment, wage information, registration card and staff schedule with personal data.
