The collection contains personal files of students, including three files of Jewish students. The files include data from the register of births, information about parents, origin, place of residence and birth certificates.
Archival history:
Materials were added to the archive as part of the standard local process.
Administrative/biographical history:
The Omsk 4-classes progymnasium (Omsk second female gymnasium) was opened on 1 July 1877. On 1 June 1906, the 5th class was opened in the gymnasium, followed by subsequent classes as the number of students grew. Thus, it was transformed into a full gymnasium as of 1 June 1908. It was turned into a school in 1920.
