Scope and content:: The collection contains the reports of the male gymnasium, correspondence, information about the parents 'committee, donations to the army, documents on the changes in personnel, petitions and papers to the teachers' council, secret correspondence with the director of the gymnasium, statements about lessons.

The collection provides information about the history of education, including education of Jews in Siberia; decrees and orders of higher authorities; documents about the instructors and students; track records and official lists, including the private files of Jewish students (personal data of the student, medical and vaccinations certificate, parents' obligations to pay for education, data on parents, petition for admission to an educational institution, the financial status of the parents).

Archival history:: Materials were added to the archive as part of the standard local process. Documents have only been preserved since 1906.

Administrative/biographical history:: The Gymnasium was founded in 1876. In 1920 it was transformed into a 2nd degree high school and later into the 19th gymnasium.
