Scope and content:: This collection contains a variety of administrative documents and correspondence on budget, staffing and payroll, various documents created during day-to-day police operations and an unusually large quantity of materials regarding border policing, illegal aliens and supervision of political groups, probably due to the proximity of territories occupied by Russia during World War II. Also of interest is a military recruitment register providing a significant amount of statistical information on military-age men in the region, including data on ethnicity and religion.
