Scope and content:: This collection contains a variety of administrative records and correspondence regarding staffing, budget and other general business, as well as materials regarding the policing of the community. The latter category includes a variety of registers of infractions and of individuals arrested or wanted for arrest, some of whom, owing to the substantial regional Jewish population, were Jewish. Elsewhere are various papers and correspondence regarding permits and licenses for activities and events, particularly automobile permits and licenses. There are also some files on military conscripts and citizenship.
