Scope and content:
The school was attended by a diverse group of girls. Included in the school-wide register of 1925 are Germans, Jews, Poles, Romanians and Ruthenians. The register records name, birth date and place, language, religion, class, grades, father's name and occupation and residence. The records are fairly complete; with the exception of the World War I years, each school year generally has every individual class record or a school-wide register (registru metricol). In 1915 a first-grade class consisted of 61 girls, of whom 35 were Jewish, 14 Greek Orthodox and 12 Roman Catholic. Of these, 47 spoke German as their mother tongue and 14 Ruthenian (Ukrainian). Another first-grade class had 64 pupils, of whom 28 were Greek Orthodox, 25 Roman Catholic, nine Jewish and two Protestant. Of these, 37 spoke Ruthenian as their mother tongue, 19 German, seven Polish, and one Bohemian (Czech).
Archival history:
The records were maintained by the school and collected by the Suceava branch of the National Archives after World War II and the restructuring of the school system by the communist regime.
