Scope and content:
The collection contains class registers, registers detailing teachers’ backgrounds, records of student exams, statistical information regarding absences and other school-related correspondence. The majority of the students enrolled in the 1905/6-1908/9 register books are Jewish. Archival material from after 1912 is stored at the Colegiul Tehnic Rădăuți.
Archival history:
The records were maintained by the school and collected by the Suceava branch of the National Archives after World War II and the restructuring of the school system by the communist regime.
Administrative/biographical history:
Known as Städtisches Mädchen-Lyzeum Radautz, this school was founded in 1905 and attended primarily by the daughters of the Jewish and German middle and upper class of Radautz.
