Scope and content:: The photograph collection consists of various photographs and postcards donated to the Suceava branch of the National Archives. Few of the items explicitly depict Jewish inhabitants of the region – one exception being a photograph of pupils from a Jewish school in Moldova – but the items do depict scenes from everyday life or events in Bukovina during the period in which Jews made up a significant part of the population. There are also several photographs of school classes or other groups which almost certainly include Jewish members, but the names of those depicted are seldom provided.
