Scope and content:: The fonds contains only the statues of the Jewish Religious Community of Mariánské Lázně.

Archival history:: The record was incorporated into the archives of the Jewish Museum in Prague during the Second World War as part of shipments of material from Jewish religious communities that had been disbanded.

Administrative/biographical history:: Jewish settlement in Mariánské Lázně is documented from the beginning of the 19th century. It was not until after 1848, however, that Jews were allowed to lived there. A Jewish religious community was established in Mariánské Lázně in 1875. It incorporated the area of the disbanded Jewish Religious Community of Poutnov in 1931. The Jewish Religious Community of Mariánské Lázně was disbanded after the annexation of the Sudetenland by Nazi Germany in 1938 but resumed its activities after the Second World War.
