Scope and content:: The fonds contains donation books and registers of the burial society (chevra kadisha).

Archival history:: The records were incorporated into the archives of the Jewish Museum in Prague during the Second World War as part of shipments of material from Jewish religious communities that had been disbanded.

Administrative/biographical history:: Jews were settled in Hluboká nad Vltavou by the manorial authority in about 1645. A Jewish religious community was established there probably by the end of the 17th century. It was disbanded by the Nazis during the Second World War and did not subsequently resume its activities.
