Scope and content:: The fonds contains mainly biographical material relating to Mikuláš Friedman, as well as correspondence and personal documents relating to his wife.

Archival history:: The Jewish Community of Prague handed over the material as escheat to the archives of the Jewish Museum in Prague in 2011.

Administrative/biographical history:: Prof. Mikuláš Friedman, CSc. (1923, Výlok, Sub-Carpathian Ruthenia-2009, Prague) was a graduate of the Czech Technical University in Prague. He was employed at the Czech School of Agriculture in Prague from 1952 until 1990. His research focused mainly on mathematical depictions of the work of the functional elements of agricultural machines. He was praised for his work as a teacher, scholar and organiser.
