Title (official language):: Židovská náboženská obec Ústí nad Labem po roce 1945

Scope and content:: The fonds contains the community's financial records (cash books, budgets, payroll tax records), minutes of board meetings, and material relating to individual synagogue associations (correspondence, documents related to property management, etc.).

Archival history:: The fonds was transferred to the archives of the Jewish Museum in Prague by the Jewish Community of Ústí nad Labem in February 2009.

Administrative/biographical history:: The Jewish Religious Association of Ústí nad Labem was founded in 1863, becoming a religious community in 1869. The community was disbanded by the Nazis during the Second World War but resumed its activities after 1945. In 1989 the community was transformed, becoming the Jewish Community of Ústí nad Labem with authority over the Jewish communities in the districts of Ústí nad Labem and Litoměřice. The Jewish Community of Ústí nad Labem is still in existence.
