Scope and content:: The fonds contains a document granting the honourable title "gabbay of the Holy Land", which was conferred on Abraham Platzek by a Jewish community of immigrants from Austria and Galicia in Jerusalem (1869).

Archival history:: The document was part of the collections of the pre-war Jewish Museum in Mikulov.

Administrative/biographical history:: Abraham Platzek (born 1799 in Přerov, died 1884 in Boskovice), rabbi in Přerov, Hranice and Boskovice, from 1851 chief rabbi of Moravia, with headquarters in Boskovice.
