Scope and content:: The fonds contains correspondence, theological studies and sermons, studies on the history of the Jews in Moravia and newspaper clippings (mostly from the Jewish press).

Archival history:: The records were incorporated into the archives of the Jewish Museum in Prague during the Second World War as part of shipments of material from Jewish religious communities that had been disbanded.

Administrative/biographical history:: Dr. Heinrich Flesch (1864, Mattersdorf, Austria-1939, Dolní Kounice, Moravia). From 1894 he served as rabbi in Dolní Kounice, gradually assuming authority over Jewish communities in Moravský Krumlov (from 1915) and Ivančice (from 1919). He published a number of articles on the history of individual Moravian Jewish communities and also dealt with genealogy.
