Archival history:: The documents came to the archives of the Jewish Museum in Prague from Brno during the Second World War as part of shipments of material from Jewish religious communities that had been disbanded.

Administrative/biographical history:: Dr. David Feuchtwang (1864–1936) was the chief rabbi of Mikulov (1892–1903) and Vienna (1933−1936) and author of a study on epitaphs in the Jewish cemetery of Mikulov.
