Correspondence, financial records, entries in the graves register and Hazkarot date from up to the early 1940s.

The records were incorporated into the archives of the Jewish Museum in Prague during the Second World War as part of shipments of material from Jewish religious communities that had been disbanded.
Administrative/biographical history:
The first reference to a Jewish settlement in Přerov is from 1447. A religious community existed there from, at the latest, the 16th century. The community was disbanded by the Nazis during the Second World War and did not subsequently resume its activities.
